Rotogravure

After the Rolling Stones came out with Aftermath in 1966, Ringo Starr suggested that the next Beatles album be called After Geography.

Sadly, they settled on Revolver instead.

It's not the Beatles who should have been following the lead of the Stones, it's the Stones who ought to have followed the lead of the Beatles. The Stones' first album after "Revolver" should have been "Rotator" (or "Shotgun").

The Stones tried that, ripping off Sgt. Pepper's Lonely with Their Satanic Majesties Request, and that didn't work out so well. And the Knack tried to emulate Revolver with Round Trip, and that was even worse.

The Replacements' Let It Be is awfully good, though.
