Although I had heard the song many times, I never really caught onto the opening lines of Lynyrd Skynyrd's "That Smell" until the other day:

"Gimme Three Steps" is pretty darn amusing, too.
Don't ask me how I know this, but the Skynyrd history page run by Ronnie Van Zant's widow has a picture of the wrecked car that inspired "That Smell."
