OPC reader ECB sends along this story from today's Times, ostensibly about Bono's battle with the co-op board of the San Remo, a luxury high-rise on Manhattan's fabulous Central Park West. But the biggest news is buried deeper in the story: Billy "The Stroke" Squier somehow managed to squirrel away enough cash from his limited run of hits to buy an apartment -- with a fireplace! -- in the San Remo.
I bet the guys in Tommy Tutone sure are feeling jealous today.
