The eBay sale of the Chee-to shaped like Barbaro has now closed, with a winning bid of $69.69. I wanted to wait until after this auction was complete to tell you about it, for the following reason: A couple of years ago I paid $745 for some jicama shaped like Spectacular Bid. But when I finally received my prize, it turned out that the blessed thing had been carved.
I wouldn't want to be a party to something similar happening here. On the other hand, I'm not sure you can carve a Chee-to.
