Phrases That Leonard Cohen Got to Rhyme With "Hallelujah" in the Song of the Same Name

Do ya?

The moonlight overthrew ya

How to shoot at someone who outdrew ya

I used to live alone before I knew ya

Do ya? (again!)

What's it to ya?

I didn't come to fool ya

  1. I usually like and often love Leonard Cohen's songs and albums, but I have always thought that song is an overrated piece of crap. (Not because of those rhymes; I often get a kick out of goofy forced rhymes [see "Angelina" by Bob Dylan, which is swell]).

"Take my advice, I'm only tryin' to school ya."

    OK, that's enough for 7AM.
